How To Vote

In Texas, there are THREE WAYS to cast your vote in the 2024 Elections.
You can vote by mail, vote early in-person, or vote on Election Day in-person.
Learn more about each way to vote below.

Vote By Mail

Mid-September Mail Ballots begin to go out on a rolling basis
10/11 Last Recommended Day to request a Ballot By Mail
10/29 Last Recommended Day to Return Your Ballot in the Mail
11/5 @ 7PM Election Day: The Only Day You May Deliver Your Ballot in Person to Your County Early Voting Clerk’s Office

Steps To Vote By Mail

  • If you will be 65 or older on Election Day, or meet one of the other eligibility categories, you may request a Mail Ballot from your County Early Voting Clerk.

  • Watch for your mail ballot beginning in late September/early October.

  • When you receive your ballot, vote all the way down the ballot and place your ballot in the envelope.

  • Don’t forget to include both your Social Security Number and Drivers’ License Number under the carrier envelope flap. Include both numbers if you have both.

  • Before sealing the envelope, include your phone number & email address (if you have one).

  • After sealing your envelope, sign the envelope at the X.

  • We recommend mailing your ballot by October 29, 2024, to ensure it is delivered by the deadline.

  • Track your ballot’s status at txdem.co/vbmstatus. You can make many corrections from there.
