How To Vote
In Texas, there are THREE WAYS to cast your vote in the 2024 Elections.
You can vote by mail, vote early in-person, or vote on Election Day in-person.
Learn more about each way to vote below.
Vote By Mail
Mid-September | Mail Ballots begin to go out on a rolling basis |
10/11 | Last Recommended Day to request a Ballot By Mail |
10/29 | Last Recommended Day to Return Your Ballot in the Mail |
11/5 @ 7PM | Election Day: The Only Day You May Deliver Your Ballot in Person to Your County Early Voting Clerk’s Office |
Steps To Vote By Mail
If you will be 65 or older on Election Day, or meet one of the other eligibility categories, you may request a Mail Ballot from your County Early Voting Clerk.
Watch for your mail ballot beginning in late September/early October.
When you receive your ballot, vote all the way down the ballot and place your ballot in the envelope.
Don’t forget to include both your Social Security Number and Drivers’ License Number under the carrier envelope flap. Include both numbers if you have both.
Before sealing the envelope, include your phone number & email address (if you have one).
After sealing your envelope, sign the envelope at the X.
We recommend mailing your ballot by October 29, 2024, to ensure it is delivered by the deadline.
Track your ballot’s status at txdem.co/vbmstatus. You can make many corrections from there.
